Configure voice settings for your AI agent

Voice Settings

Configure voice settings in Settings → Twilio Phone Numbers:

  • Twilio Voice: Choose from Alice, Polly voices, or custom
  • Language: Set the language for voice interactions (en-US, en-GB, es-ES, etc.)
  • AI Voice Model: Choose TTS-1, TTS-1-HD, or GPT-4o Mini TTS for AI-generated speech
  • Enable Recording: Optionally record calls for quality assurance

Speech Recognition

Your AI agent can understand both:

  • Speech input: Natural spoken language
  • DTMF (keypad): Press numbers for menu options

Call Flow

  1. Customer calls your Twilio number
  2. AI greets customer with welcome message
  3. AI listens for questions or requests
  4. AI responds using your knowledge base
  5. AI can schedule appointments, answer questions, or transfer to menu
  6. Call ends and statistics are updated
